MUSIC: Yere – Yawa

Talented Nigerian singer Glory Iyere, popularly called by his stage name ‘Yere’ drops brand new conscious single titled ‘Yawa’.

As the 2019 elections are fast approaching, Yere drops this song as a wakeup call to all Nigerians, to draw their attentions to all happenings in the country. Also, Yere puts his voice out for the masses, advising them to vote wisely.

‘Yawa’ narrates the lifestyle of Nigerian politicians, how they cause unrest in the country while their family members live lavish lifestyles at the detriment of the citizens, leaving the countrymen to grieve.

Speaking about the song, Yere said that ‘Yawa’ is his little contribution. “Remember power concedes nothing without demand. Let’s revive Nigeria together,” the brilliant musician added.

Yere is an afrobeat musician who grew up in Kaduna and Lagos states of Nigeria before moving to the United States, where he’s currently based.

The new single, ‘Yawa’ was produced by Femi Sanya for Tungba Nation Entertainment (TNE) Recording Studio in USA.
