  • AL Ghalib - “The Ghalibonawave EP: Vol. 1”

  • AL GHÄLIB’s DEBUT PROJECT “THE GHALIBONAWAVE EP: Vol. 1” IS A REFLECTION OF THE SELF-DECEPTION & PRETENCE EXISTING AMONGST THE YOUTH IN THE STRUGGLE AGAINST DEPRESSION AND ANXIETY.

AL GHÄLIB has announced the release of his debut EP titled “The
GHALIBONAWAVE EP: Vol. 1”. The Afropop/Afro-fusion artiste
who recently kicked of “The GHALIBONAWAVE Pop Up” tour in
New York last month recently revealed the artwork and details of his
debut project via his official website and Instagram.

Following the success of his singles Tap Dat which features DMW
(Davido Music Worldwide) artistes Dremo and Ichaba, with
additional vocals from Mayorkun and recently released CTRL which
have both raked more than 400 Thousand digital streams, the fast-rising
artiste who has received praises and cosigns from industry
heavyweights like Davido, LAX and many more, gears up for the
release of the 1st Volume of “The GHALIBONAWAVE EP” Trilogy
which is due for release on the 22nd of July 2018.

He also mentioned that Vol. 1 serves as merely a teaser in this threepart
story, with the other two volumes being more focal on the subject
matter of the Trilogy. “Some of the records on vol. 2 & 3 are actually
ready but I wasn’t comfortable enough to share them with the world
because it’s still very sensitive to me, the records are very personal and
I’m not ready for the world to see that part of me or hear that part of
my story yet, but I’m getting there.” he said. He also made mention of
his partnership with the “Mental Awareness Nigeria Initiative” with the
primary aim of using both their platforms to bring more exposure to the
issue of mental health and provide help to those struggling in the
    society (most especially teenagers).

The fast-rising star is set to continue promoting the EP while on
“The GHALIBONAWAVE Pop Up” which will extend to Ghana,
Kenya, Uganda, UK and many other countries throughout the year
before he rounds up the tour at his “The GHALIBONAWAVE
Live Experience” annual concert in December after which Vol. 2
& 3 of The GHALIBONAWAVE EP will be released.
