Award-winning
Nigerian highlife singer Pardon C is
out with the official music video of his internationally acclaimed song, ‘Bele
Bele’ featuring Ugandan music sensation, Jose Chameleone.
The
music video of ‘Bele Bele’ directed by Champions
Studios, co-directed by Konstance Media
showcases the beauty of Nigerian indigenous traditional wedding, featuring live
scenes from traditional wedding, starring Chima and Chidera, shot in Owerri.
Pardon C
made a bold statement with the black and white music video that no matter how
long he stays abroad, he’ll never forget the rich culture of Africa, the
affluent tradition of his source and will always appreciate his root – Imo
State, Nigeria.
“This
video is to remind the world about the rich culture of Africa, it is varied and
manifold, consisting of a mixture of tribes that each have their own unique
physiognomies,” Pardon C says as he
takes his fans down to his home state in the flick.
Pardon C
and Jose Chameloene’s alliance on ‘Bele
Bele’ exposed the hidden beauty of AfroBeats and Highlife genre of
music, which should neither be underestimated nor overlooked by music lovers.
This is a proof that Nigerian and Ugandan collaboration is overwhelming.
‘Bele
Bele’ video comes after Pardon C’s big win at the recently held 2017 Next Generation Awards, where he danced joyously home with an
award for his ‘Emergency’ visuals in the ‘Best Music Video’ category.
The
sweet and melodious afro-highlife ‘Bele Bele’ was nurtured by
brilliant Nigerian and Cameroonian music producers, Oxigin and Walta Blackson.
