Rotimo - Best Thing Ever video
'Best Thing Ever'and ‘Family’ will both be available on all major digital download/streaming sites from 13th February
2017. It is a fusion of Afrobeats and R&B with the latter taking
centre stage in the production and a balance of African/English lyrics
as Rotimo tells his lover there’s nothing in the world better than she
is.Family is a feel-good mid-tempo mix that also leads with RnB but with
sprinkles of Afropop from startto finish. Here, Rotimo expresses his
desire to take things to the next level with his lover and start a
family.
Over
the years, Rotimo has developed his craft as a singer, songwriter, and
performer in the UK. From penning his own music, to leading an
underground UK funk band, and organising his own headline concerts, he
has been carving out a niche for himself.His previous single, ‘For The
Ladies’ got him into people’s consciousness as a rising star; earning
him the number 1 spot on a couple of Nigerian and UK radio music charts.
Both
these singles are released in the lead up to a series of singles from
him on his Extended Play (EP) album project due later in the year.
